The University of Texas at El Paso Biodiversity Collections Entomology collection includes The Mackay Laboratory of Myrmecology which is overseen by William P. Mackay and has a mission to advance the understanding of ants through research on their taxonomy, systematics and ecology as well as a variety of other insects and arthropods.
