Type Material

Holotype: "Male holotype from 1 mile north of San Diman Park, San Dimas Canyon, Los Angeles County, California, August 6, 1947 (G.D. Morris), in the American Museum of Natural History" (Muma, 1951, p. 92). 

Chelicerae Description: "Structure similar to that of T. cameronensis, new species, except the movable finger is serrate in front of the anterior tooth, the fixed finger is nearly straight, the mesal groove of the fixed finger does not extend to the base of the fixed finger, the fondal notch is distinct" (Muma, 1951, p. 90;92).

Ctenidia Description: "there are only two heavy ctenidia on the first post-spiracular sternite of the abdomen" (Muma, 1951, p. 92).
