Diagnosis: Body eongate, shiny, very robust, large species (>26mm). Pronotum widest anterior to middle, narrowing posteriorly, anterior angles only slightly produced. Profemora always with strongly acute spine. Elytra elongate oval, shiny, faintly punctate–striate, humeral angles obsolete. Distribution: Mohave and Yuma counties, AZ.  NV, CA, Baja Norte, Mexico.
