The OSAC is a research collection of approximately 3 million non-marine arthropod and molluscan specimens. Strengths are Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, Hemiptera and Acari. The fauna of the Pacific Northwest is particularly well represented, but the collection is global in scope. The collection includes both primary and secondary types.
