Occurrence Remarks:
I keep finding these Catocalas in my yard, and I remembered to photograph the hind tibiae this time (3rd photo). The spines are supposed to be less dense in neogama than subnata. The spines on this individual’s tibiae look pretty sparse to me, although I am having trouble locating comparison photos on the internet.
